Our volunteers keep our organization running strong!  They are invaluable to our efforts and have truly helped to make the Children's Museum what it is today.  In fact, from 2002 to 2005, nearly 100% of the efforts of the Children's Museum were volunteer driven.  Volunteering your time at the museum is both rewarding and fun!

CMFDL recommends volunteers be 16 years of age; however, we will interview volunteer applicants starting at age 13.

Volunteer of the Year

Each year, the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac recognizes those outstanding volunteers who have given so freely of their time and talents over the past year.   The Outstanding Board Member Award recognizes those who have served on our Board of Directors and have gone above and beyond the call of duty.  The Outstanding Volunteer Award regonizes individuals in the community who have lent their talents to the museum, helping us to accomplish a specific goal.  The Outstanding Committee Member Award acknowledges those who serve on one or more of our committees, giving tirelessly of their time to ensure the committee works effeciently and effectively.

In November 2009 at our Volunteer Appreciation Event event we proudly recognized the following individuals for their efforts to further our mission:

• Jane Gaffney, Outstanding Volunteer Award  
• Julie Garrison, Oustanding Committee Member Award
